Try our mouth-watering Char Siu Pork with a quick, flavoursome and easy egg noddle recipe

Ingredients
210 gm fresh thin egg noodles
60 ml (¼ cup) vegetable oil
3 spring onions (white part only), cut into julienne
30 gm ginger cut into julienne
1kg of the Standard Meat Co Char Siu BBQ Pork
300 ml chicken stock
60 ml (1/4 cup) oyster sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
½ tsp sesame oil
Method for the Char Siu Pork
- Pre-heat oven to 180°C (conventional) (160°C fan-forced)
- Empty contents from bag and place in an oven proof dish
- Glaze with honey (optional)
- Place product in the middle shelf of oven and cook for approx. 20 minutes or until surface of pork is brown
- Allow product to rest
Method for egg noodles
- In large saucepan, cook the noodles with boiling water until al dente (2-3 minutes)
- Drain, refresh under cold running water and set aside to drain
- Toss with 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a bowl to prevent sticking, set aside
- Heat remaining oil in a wok over high heat, add spring onion, ginger and stir-fry until fragrant (20 seconds)
- Add the Standard Meat Co Char Siu Pork and stir to warm for 1 minute
- Add chicken stock, oyster sauce, dark soy and sesame oil
- Bring to the boil, stir in noodles and serve warm
