Did you catch us at the Metcash trade show?

Proudly promoting and sampling The Standard Meat Co. and Tony Roma’s Original BBQ range (licensed to produce & sell) at the Metcash Expo at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre earlier this month.

Meeting with owners and store managers gave them a chance to understand and taste the quality of our current range. As they sampled our products they were delightfully surprised at the taste and restaurant standard. Its safe to say we made a good impression based off the smiling faces we were met with as they took their first bite.

Nat Pierri, the Sales and Marketing Manager at Country Cooked International said that the expo was beneficial because “you are dealing directly with the stores who are probably going to be our strongest clients and who will stock the product that's in their Metcash warehouse”.

Many were surprised by the “realness” of the meat; With tasters circling back to get another taste.

The Standard Meat Co. Asian BBQ Pork Belly was a hit with its unique spices and flavours makes it a leader in the prepared meals section as each mouthful is as delicious as the last.

We were showcasing to the Super Independents and IGAs from the 14th July to the 16th of July in the Gold Coast from 9am to 6pm.

“It allowed us to not only explain what our products are but help people understand the benefits of it and give them ideas on how our products fit into their business as a centre of plate product” said Pierri.

The Standard Meat Co. and Tony Roma’s Original BBQ products can have side dishes or finishing touches added such as rice, salads or burgers bringing adaptability to cuisines and creating quality and ease in versatility whilst cooking at home.
