Country Cooked International Pty Ltd specialises in value added cooked protein solutions, providing unique recipes which add value to your protein menu and have the flexibility to be tailored to individual customer expectations and business needs. We are a family business that started in the food service industry and has moved to retail as we saw a gap in the market. 


In the 1950s, Eusebio Marcocci migrated to Australia from Italy wanting to start a new life and a business, so he began with one butchery which grew into more shops around Melbourne. Then in the 60s, he started the first meat wholesaler distribution business. Around 2012, Country Cooked International branched out as the second generation family butchers. We moved into cooked meats, making it easier for Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), caters, other businesses and our primary customers which are food service companies. Through our experience in customer service, adapting to changes in the market and constant innovation, we have become a successful small business which now runs under the University Food Group. This gives us the confidence to move into retail with The Standard Meat Co. range.
